Millenium park Chicago

I saw photos on Facebook which many Thai friends posted the "Giant Ball" in Chicago. I told myself, " I will be there one day".

The day was a day in 2013, we did a road trip from Delaware to Glacier National Park, Montana. I asked him to stop here for me when we got into Chicago on our way back home. He denied immediately because of the bad traffic but I convinced him as I really wanted just a few photos with the "Giant Ball".

Yes, he agreed and told me, "make it quick"

Hooray! I was happy back home because I got the photos taken with the "Giant Ball" in Chicago.

I had no idea about the place until we got there. I saw the sign " Millenium Park". It was a nice path walking to the "Giant Ball". There was a stage performance with an architecture dome at the front.

I took photos of tall buildings which was very cool in my eyes.

Tiger tail beach State Park, Florida

My husband searched and found this park. I had not known if there were many people in regular but when we were there NONE!

It was quiet. We rented a water tricycle and went to the beach the other side, "Gulf of Mexico". If my memory was good, we could take the bike for 1-2 hours. The water there was clear, warm and shallow. The sand was clean and white.

Good exercise on the bike. Yes, that was our first time.

There were many tiny crabs along the path. I do not know what called in English.

Kinzua Bridge State Park short trip

July 5, 2018

It was a short trip. We left home about noon and took about six hours to get there. The sky was bright with white clouds. The clouds today looked very low which made me thought about drawing. We checked in the room and walked to the restaurant next door. Its name reminded me to Cracker Barrel but did not have buckets of nuts here. We rest in the room get ready for tomorrow.

It was 8 am. We headed to the Kinzua Bridge State Park where was only ten minutes from the hotel. We decided to have breakfast there but only one food cart which did not open yet when we were there. We enjoyed walking on the bridge, " Sky Walk", and hiking on a short trail. We spent about two hours here then we left. We stopped and having brunch in town before hit the road.

The 2nd stop was Hickory Run State Park , about three hours from Kinzua Bridge, two hours to home. It was 3pm. when we got there then we did short hiking and visited a boulder field.

I would like to hike at the waterfall trail but we did not have much time today. However, it was a waterfall from the pond and also several tiny falls from the creek along the trail. Overall, I was happy with this trip.

This was a souvenir when I got home and later I got rashes over my hands, legs and chest.
