Baan Pak Klong Phatumtani

This place in the same area as my mother's old house where I lived when I was 2x years old.
The food was good in every dishes especially fry-fishes, my favorite. There was a live band. On the day we were there, a blind singer was on the stage. Her voice was beautiful. Price was reasonable.

I like how they cooked rice in small pots. One pot was not enough for me so I took half from a niece and half from mister ^_^ .

Krua Pleuksa Ramindra At Narong Express way Thailand

The restaurant is on Ramindra At Narong Express-way. On the day we were there, there were crowded which made the food serves to us very slow. My step-mother said, " It looks like Chinese style at the wedding", because the food served one dish at the time and took a while until the next came. However, food was tasty but the price a bit high < in my opinion as I have not come back to Thailand 4 years, everything's price is higher>.  Even though, I think for western is reasonable of a nice restaurant and live music along the dinner.

My personal, I like street-food better but I pick only clean and cooking by order. The most important is the price much lower.

Marine Base Sattaheep Thailand

My dad relatives were making a funeral for one of my grandparents family and we took her ashes to the ocean. It called " Loi Ungkarn" in Thai. I looked for the word in English and got this, Water Burial".

This reminds me once when I was very young which I went on a long tail boat with dad, my own grandmother and other relatives whom I did not remember. Those time, my grandmother left ashes into the water but this time I saw they took a whole pot into the water.

I do not know much about ceremony though. I think, nowadays, this ceremony is a business as Thai culture because there were many families did this on the same day. We must reserve time and day to do and wait on the queue.

Ayothaya Market Ayutthaya Floating Market

Jan 5, 2018

Ayutthaya is not far from Bangkok. We visited my mother in Phatumtani where is close to Ayutthaya so we decided to go here. My friend "Jum" was our driver today. None remember the direction well then we asked people along our way until we got there. Thai people enter for free but foreigners must buy 200 baht ticket which included the boat tour fee. Thai people must buy the boat tickets so we did. There are many things selling there and also a variety food. There was a show there too. I missed the show because was shopping and taking photos but my husband watched it.
